Refinery church's guidelines for

in-person services

  • Minimize any physical contact (shaking hands, fist/elbow bumping, hugging, etc).
  • Stay 6ft apart from those outside of your immediate household at all times.
  • If attending in-person services, wearing a mask is highly preferred and recommended.
  • Attend our online services if you or someone in your household are sick, have health issues or are at risk in any way.
  • If you or someone in your household have been exposed within the past 14 days, we ask that you attend our online services only.
  • If you or someone in your household have had a fever or have shown any symptoms of COVID-19, we'd love to have you join us online.

Covid-19 Prevention FAQ

Will Refinery Church be screening those who attend in person?


Temperature checks will be required for all our staff and volunteers.

Attendees are not required to be screened, however we do ask that everyone use their best judgement:

if you have been feeling ill and/or have a low grade fever, please stay home and join us via live feed.



Will there be Kids Church available for my children?


At this time we will have Kids Zone and Nursery available. Waivers must be signed by a parent or guardian.



What safety precautions can I expect?


Refinery Church is taking several precautions to keep your family and our volunteers safe and healthy:

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available.
  • Room capacity limits set to provide adequate spacing.
  • Cleaning of all areas before your arrival.
  • Temperature checks required for all staff and volunteers.


Will restrooms be available?


Yes, all restrooms will be open and will undergo routine cleaning.



I'm not comfortable returning to church yet. Can I continue to be a part of the online experience?


Of course! We encourage you to continue joining us online each weekend until you feel comfortable

attending in-person services. Our weekend worship experiences will continue to be streamed every Sunday at

10:30am via Facebook and YouTube.



What other modifications will there be? 

  • Shortened services to limit the length of time congregants are in service.
  • No passing of offering trays/buckets.
  • Limited cafe during this phase of re-opening.
