Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God and realize that we are shepherds who serve under Jesus Christ who is our Chief Shepherd. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry and help people find Christ and become fully devoted followers.



  • Lead Pastor | Brad Grams

    Brad Grams has been Lead pastor of Refinery Church, Campus Pastor of the West McKinley Campus since 1993. Under Brad's leadership, Refinery Church is dedicated to helping people find Christ and become fully devoted followers. He is known for his conversational approach to teaching the Bible and his passion to help others know God and love Him more. As Lead Pastor, Brad's role is to be the spiritual leader of the Refinery Church family, the primary Bible teacher, and the communicator of Refinery's mission, vision, and values.
    Born in Lindsay, CA where his dad pastored Lindsay First Assembly of God until he was three. The family moved to Santa Barbara where he grew up. Graduated from San Marcos High School in 1976. From there he worked for his brother-in-law at Holden Optical in Lodi, CA until 1987. While working he attended Capitol Christian Bible Institute in Sacramento and received his license to preach through the Northern California District of the Assemblies of God. He moved to Southern California in 1987 and became the pastor of Adelanto Assembly. In 1989 Brad became the Associate Pastor of Mountain Avenue Assembly where he served until 1993. Ordained with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1991.  In August of 1993 he became the lead Pastor of then West McKinley Church now known as Refinery Church. 
    He and his wife, Judy, reside in the Fresno area. They have three children, Susan married to Alan Huerta, and Laura married to Tim Applegate & Scott Grams. Four grandchildren David Huerta, Olivia Huerta, Jenna Huerta and Clayton Huerta.

  • Worship/Creative Arts Pastor | Natalie Mendoza

    Natalie Mendoza was born and raised in Los Angeles, California before moving to the Central Valley in 2006. She met her husband, Nicholas Mendoza, when they moved to their small hometown of Caruthers, California. They were High School and College sweethearts and got married in 2017, welcoming a new baby girl, Elsie Joy into their family in 2019. Natalie and Nick both attended Vanguard University of Southern California, where Natalie received her B.A in Religion with an emphasis in Pastoral Leadership. She has been serving on and leading worship teams since she was 15 years old. She whole-heartedly believes in the power of God’s presence and the special role worship plays in that. Natalie is always willing to make a friend and share her heart and with you over a good cup of coffee. 

  • MAin Campus Spanish PAstor | Juan Castillo

    Pastor Juan and Maria Castillo have been leading the Spanish congregation at the Main Campus (Refinery Church - West McKinley Campus) for over 6 years. And have a passion for reaching primarily the Spanish speaking in the West Fresno Area. 

  • Youth Pastor | Juan "JJ" Castillo Jr.

    Pastor "JJ"  was born in the Bronx, NY. JJ moved across the United States of America all the way to the west coast in 1999, where he began his freshman year of high school. Former graduate of Hoover High, JJ brings with him a background in counseling. JJ has had the opportunity to serve within the Fresno County school districts since 2006, helping young people by being an example in their lives. JJ is happily married to Cynthia and they have 2 kids Isabelle and Ezekiel AKA Malachi. JJ has a huge heart to work with our teenagers within the community and continue to invest time in developing personal and intentional

    relationships with each student. LET’S GO RSM!
