Brad Grams has been Lead pastor of Refinery Church, Campus Pastor of the West McKinley Campus since 1993. Under Brad's leadership, Refinery Church is dedicated to helping people find Christ and become fully devoted followers. He is known for his conversational approach to teaching the Bible and his passion to help others know God and love Him more. As Lead Pastor, Brad's role is to be the spiritual leader of the Refinery Church family, the primary Bible teacher, and the communicator of Refinery's mission, vision, and values.
Born in Lindsay, CA where his dad pastored Lindsay First Assembly of God until he was three. The family moved to Santa Barbara where he grew up. Graduated from San Marcos High School in 1976. From there he worked for his brother-in-law at Holden Optical in Lodi, CA until 1987. While working he attended Capitol Christian Bible Institute in Sacramento and received his license to preach through the Northern California District of the Assemblies of God. He moved to Southern California in 1987 and became the pastor of Adelanto Assembly. In 1989 Brad became the Associate Pastor of Mountain Avenue Assembly where he served until 1993. Ordained with the General Council of the Assemblies of God in 1991. In August of 1993 he became the lead Pastor of then West McKinley Church now known as Refinery Church.
He and his wife, Judy, reside in the Fresno area. They have three children, Susan married to Alan Huerta, and Laura married to Tim Applegate & Scott Grams. Four grandchildren David Huerta, Olivia Huerta, Jenna Huerta and Clayton Huerta.
