  • Campus Pastor - Alex BRumley

Alex and Anna  are no strangers to the Valley. Born and raised in Visalia CA, Alex grew up attending Visalia First where he quickly got into ministry from a young age. While at V1, he met Anna at youth group and he enrolled in SAGU SoCal, an online extension site of Southwestern Assemblies of God University where he received his degree in Church Leadership. In 2016, Alex moved to the Central Coast to be a Kids Pastor; where shortly after Alex and Anna were married. Alex had been a Kids Pastor for over 5 years at 2 different churches before accepting the position of Campus Pastor here at Refinery. Alex and Anna have two daughters and enjoy going on walks as a family. In his off time, you can find Alex trying to improve his mediocre golf game, or watching some sort of sporting event; hopefully watching his Atlanta Braves or San Jose Sharks win.

  • Refinery Worship - Rose Mendez

Rose Mendez was born in the Philippines and raised in Fresno, California. She first attended West McKinley Assembly of God (now Refinery West Campus) as a child back in 1996. She grew up within the church's children & youth programs, where the foundation for her faith was poured and built on. She met her husband, Alex Mendez, when they both were involved in vocal music programs at Fresno City College. Rose obtained her A.A. in Music - Vocal Performance from Fresno City College. She first served on a worship team when she was about 13 years old, playing the flute--the Worship Pastor at the time wrote flute parts for her to play so she could be part of the team. The willingness of Pastor Moore to go above & beyond to keep her involved with her limited music skills at the time really stuck with her.

She whole-heartedly believes that worship is the offering of herself as a daily living sacrifice to God. She believes in investing the "talents" bestowed by God to return greater fruit to Him. Rose has served as a drummer, keyboardist, and vocalist for Refinery West. She is grateful to God for the opportunity to serve as the Worship Leader at Refinery Kingsburg and hopes to help sow into the community.
